I finally decided to go back to a system restore point I had set in the past but then the problem continued to persist there. Finally I sucked it up and did a reset. I personally didn't lose much because it's a practically new computer.

Once I reset the computer and installed everything again I tried installing that program. After I tried installing, it failed and then nothing else could install. It would be interesting if you had tried to install the same thing at one point. It's unfortunate that there is very little support for Windows 10 on the microsoft or windows website seeing that it has many issues.

Hopefully someone takes note of this and takes action to fix it before it happens to more people. So yah, a reset was the only thing that worked for me so that I could install things again. If you have an older computer this might not be an option for you.

You could try customer support, but even after 2 hours of the guy remotely controlling my desktop he couldn't figure it out. Keep in mind this was the only guy that actually knew what he was doing at all, everyone else would go afk for like 10 minutes and then come back and tell me to check for updates or restart my computer. I also had to scavenge through the support people until I found one that could I actually speak english, pretty sure one guy was using google translate.
